When you support Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP), you provide justice and hope to many of DC’s low-income residents. We are a nonprofit law firm located in multiple DC neighborhoods so that easy access to free legal services can be provided to low-income residents in need.
So many hard-working members of our communities struggle to meet everyday basic needs for themselves and their families. Like, paying for a lawyer to bring a legal complaint against a landlord who refuses to take action to rid their home of bedbugs, instead of buying enough food to feed their family for the month.
No one should have to make a choice like this. It’s important that everyone, regardless of economic status, has access to justice, and that is why Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) exists.
